Solutions

Here is a selection of websites we have designed and built recently. Most of them are "hand-rolled" to the client's precise requirement i.e not built from a template, which is why they all look so different. Click on a thumbnail to visit the respective site (opens in a new browser page).

Link to Bill and Bentley This website is for Bill and Bentley, a company which hires out vintage cars for weddings, corporate functions, school proms - in fact any sort of function where you need to arrive in style.

They own several domains each of which points to a different "starter" page. You then click through the starter page to visit the main site.

This website, Instinct plus Reason (I+R) was made for a commercial artist and photographer working in London. He had a very clear idea of what he wanted.

It is different from most other websites: it's all monochrome and there are no menus. The idea is that you explore each image and find the links.

Don't try this site on a dial-up line !

ComputerRepairSationThis site, Computer Repair Station, is the simplest of all those shown here. It has just 3 pages and was made from a template.

The client supplied the photographs, the text and the layout idea so the whole thing was done very quickly. All we did was feed his instructions into the template and - bingo! - job done.

Bursledon Brickworks is an industrial museum based upon the remains of an abandoned brickworks. This site is an adjunct to the main site and is used almost entirely for displaying photographs. The colour scheme is meant to suggest bricks and clay.

There are two different types of album used together with a system for displaying single pictures at high resolution. The site also contains a map derived from the GoogleMap software.

Link to Charlies Bouncy CastlesCharlies Bouncy Castles is generated from a template. After the site code issued forth from the template we did some tweaking to get just the solution the client wanted.

The colours were chosen to give the site a warm "bouncy" feeling. The client supplied the photographs, which we tweaked to make them suitable for the web.

The domain host supports EMail, so there is an online booking form which is returned via EMail to a distincive address - no Hotmail !

This site is for Musician's Union members in the Southampton area. It has an online database of members and local bands which can be searched to find people playing particular instruments or people by surname. The database is updated via the web using a password protected page.

The colour scheme and the fonts were requested by the client, but the rest of the site is our own design.

Link to Southsea Orchestral SocietySouthsea Orchestral Society commissioned this website. The only brief we had was "make us a website". So we did the whole design, including the photography.

It's a simple static design which we "hand rolled". Some of the pages have "pop-up" windows to show photographs or maps, rather than open a brand new page.
